A substantial website redesign and back-end integration for Chapman Freeborn, a global specialised air charter solutions for cargo, private passengers and group flight operations with over four decades of experience.

Insight:

Chapman Freeborn is one of the world’s most respected air logistics groups – from managing celebrities on private jets one day, to transporting lions and PPE the next. Despite their previous site only having been live for two years, Chapman Freeborn felt its current website no longer portrayed the breadth, innovation and leading position of the company. Brand, visual identity and user experience had started to play second fiddle to conversion rate optimisation, and the site had lost its soul.

Meanwhile, despite having been optimised for a certain target with a goal of making an enquiry, the site needed to work for a wider audience: from multinational corporations, governments, NGOs, managers of celebrities from the worlds of music, sport and entertainment.

The Information Architecture was totally overhauled, offering a clearer overview of the breadth of services and more scope to convey the company’s innovative approach and leading market position through case studies, industry news or market insight. The refreshed journeys led to a more qualified call to action.

Meanwhile, the site was built without compromising any of Chapman Freeborn’s hard-earned SEO equity, and loading speed on all devices was dramatically increased.
