Michael Hughes Managing Director

Ran a design & printing business out in the Far East, dealing with advertising and publishing agencies; created one of the first online adventure travel directories, before starting Wild Dog Design in 1996.
A Managing Director that is still to be found at the coal face of design; never so happy as when in at the project brief, getting to understand the client’s needs and everyday thinks himself a lucky man to work with such creative and fun team of individuals that go to make up Wild Dog.
Dogs, photography, writing (and reading of course), sculpture, architecture, design, auction houses, swimming, history, fancy dress, red wine and, naturally, his family; and oh yes, dogs.
Most likely to be striding out on the Downs trying to keep up with the dog, swimming (a self-confessed swim-aholic), photography (hopefully in incredibly uncomfortable, but glamorous sounding locations from around the world) or designing and making (usually badly) something for the house that we don’t really need.
It is the greatest privilege to be entrusted to design projects for our clients.
It seems a pity that there are not more occasions when one can wear extravagant, self-designed hand-made headdresses.
