Heartbreakingly our world is in crisis. Our environment is taking a beating to record levels and social justice gaps seem to be getting wider. Businesses that choose profit over people and the planet are just adding to this catastrophic problem.
Here at Wild Dog we have decided that we want to be part of the solution not adding to it, so we have boldly taken a step to do so. We're going to buck the trend of only self protection and do something really bold, really good and really kind. There are simply too many wrongs that need righting and they simply cannot wait.
Since Spring 2021 and after coming out standing from the pandemic we decided that we would donate 1% of our sales to a registered charity that really makes a difference. That means every £1 of £100 will be given to help a really good cause.
This year, we have decided to reach out to three chosen organisations; a Homeless, a Wildlife and an Environmental charity.
Knight Support – Registered charity: 1190776
Life on the streets can be lonely and frightening. Knight Support is a Charity based in Brighton and Hove (home to Wild Dog) devoted to helping Rough Sleepers and our Homeless, through the provision of support, advocacy, clothing and self-care items.
FOUR PAWS – Registered charity: 1118102
FOUR PAWS is the global animal welfare organisation for animals under direct human influence, which reveals suffering, rescues animals in need and protects them. Their vision is a world where humans treat animals with respect, empathy and understanding.
Surfers Against Sewage – Registered charity: 1145877
The Surfers Against Sewage is a community dedicated to the protection of oceans, waves, beaches and wildlife. A national marine conservation and campaigning charity that inspires, unites and empowers communities to take action to protect oceans, beaches, waves and wildlife.
