Wild Dog Design and Wild Dog Canvas exhibited at the TravelTech Show (previously Travel Technology Europe) at the ExCeL London on the 29th & 30th July.
Hundreds from the travel industry flocked to the show to see what new tech is on offer this year.
We were re-launching Wild Dog Canvas, our travel itinerary PWA. The prototype of Canvas was first demonstrated at World Travel Market in 2019, when the travel industry was full of promise and preparing for a bumper year in 2020.
More than two years later the travel landscape has changed in many ways. Travellers are doing more preparatory research, and are making enquiries and getting proposals from a greater number of travel companies. Meanwhile, they are wary of amendments, cancellations and a far more complex travel experience than before. This makes life harder for the travel companies, who not only have to work as hard as possible to convert enquiries, but have to have a plan for keeping engaged with customers during the period between enquiring, booking and travelling. Having said that, people’s appetite for travel is unquenched, so the future is hopefully looking bright.
Canvas can help on all counts. Giving travel companies an intuitive dashboard to build and generate itineraries that can be sent to prospective customers as elegant, personalised microsites. Helping convert, and also helping keep customers engaged with useful, timely information.
Exciting new features include:
- Call to action ‘Book Now’ feature with popup information and link through to a booking engine or website URL
- Further enhancement of the Canvas API and WordPress plugin
- An enhancement allowing you to choose destinations, accommodations or excursions as tour highlights
- added features to the publish PDF itinerary
- an additional pricing plan for those that publish fewer itineraries
Canvas is perfect for
- Independent Travel
- Group Tours
- Educational Trips
